Andhra Sabarimala Temple

Andhra Sabarimala Temple was constructed at Siddhivaripalem of Pedamallapuram village in Sankhavaram mandal and is sprawling one lakh square yards. The temple is located at a distance of 65 km south west from Narsipatnam and is about 30 km from Annavaram temple in East Godavari district.

Temples for Lord Ayyappa, Kannimula Mahaganapati, Sri Subrahmanyaswami, a mosque for Vavarswami, Pandala Rajapuram, and a universal education and spiritual centre was constructed on the premises of Siddhivaripalem Village.

Andhra Sabarimala Temple envisages construction of a replica of Swamy Ayyappa temple at Sabarimala in Kerala. Chairman of Andhra Sabarimala project is  Mr. Bhupati Kusumachi Srinivasa Rao.

The idea to construct a replica of Sabarimala temple occurred to him after witnessing the lack of facilities at the main temple in Kerala which he visited as many as 18 times so far. The temple land is on a plain area adjoining a hill. About one lakh devotees was participated in the foundation stone laying programme in the presence of several religious heads, peethadhipatis and philanthropists.

There are two waterfalls located on the way of Narsipatnam to Andhra Sabarimala road. One waterfalls is situated near Siddhivaripalem Village and other one is situated at Rowthalapudi Village. Lord Siva’s temples are located near by these waterfalls. Andhra Sabarimala is a holy place attracts large number of devotees every year. Number of tourists came here to enjoy the natural beauty.
